Arsenal transfer boost as Fiorentina refuse to rule out Dusan Vlahovic’s January sale as striker deal expires

Arsenal’s pursuit of Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic has garnered huge support as the Italian club prepares for life without him.

The 21-year-old Serb drew the attention of the best player in Europe by scoring 21 goals in 40 matches in all competitions last season.

Fiorentina is trying to tie the striker to a new agreement, but talks between the two sides have stalled.

Now Fiorentina’s patience appears to have run out and they are looking to a future without their star player – who has scored five goals in 10 Serie A matches this season.

Their manager Joe Barone has revealed that his contract expires in 2023, but the Serie A team may be willing to part with him in January.

When asked about Vlahovic’s future before dazn“There are a lot of games left before January and we are very interested in the market and all the positions, not just the attack,” Barron said.

“Valhovich is part of the team, he has made a decision and we are preparing for the future, not only in terms of singles, but also in terms of the group.”

Arsenal have been linked with a pounce on the striker since the summer and could now be ready to pounce on him in the new year after Barron’s arrival.

The North London club looks certain to get rid of the weak striker Alexandre Lacazette and the young Serbian could be the perfect replacement.

However, Mikel Arteta’s side will have to convince Vlahovic that the UAE is the right place for him, and his excellent rivals Man City, Liverpool and Tottenham are also said to be interested.

And if Betfair is right, the Gunners have a tough job doing so as they limp behind both City and Spurs at the Battle of Vlahovic.

The Federation Giants are currently the favorites to land Vlahović by a factor of 2/1.

Spurs, the Gunners’ archenemy, came in second with a 4-1 lead.

While the Reds are behind Arsenal in the run with chances of 16/1.
