Branden Cox doesn’t seem happy about Mark Ingram trading Texas Saints.
“This is bulls-t. What a joke,” Houston wide receiver Tweet Wednesday Shortly after, Texas sent Ingram to New Orleans to choose from.
Ingram, who signed a one-year contract with the Texans in the off-season, is the captain. He was also teammates with the Cooks in New Orleans for three seasons.
The Chefs’ frustration appears to be building amid the start of season 1-6 in Houston. The Texans continued to get off the roster of veteran talent, having recently fired defensive end Whitney Mercellus, who signed with the Packers last week.
Ingram will meet the Saints, the team he selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He left New Orleans in 2019 as a free agent after rallying 6,007 rushing yards, receiving 1,598 yards and 55 touchdowns in the Big Easy.
The trade will also unite Ingram with the return of Alvin Kamara. They were considered one of the most elite duos in the NFL during their time together in 2017-18, earning the nickname “Boom and Zoom”.
When the news of Ingram’s move was announced, camara tweeted, “AyemarkinggramII…… we are back.”
Ingram responded with a smiley emoji and an emoji that mimics the Saints logo.
Saints wide receiver Kenny Stills also received a reaction to the news, Twitter Three smiley emojis.

The acquisition of Ingram gives New Orleans much-needed help in the running center following the release of veteran Latavius Murray in September. The Saints are also without the support of Tony Jones Jr. due to an ankle injury he sustained in a loss to the Giants earlier this month.
Texans are also said to be close to a deal to send quarterback Deshaun Watson to the Dolphins, pending his legal troubles.
Watson faces 22 allegations of sexual misconduct, an obvious obstacle to any trade.
