A UTD dressing room like ‘HOLIDAY CAMP’

Manchester United’s dressing room is like a holiday camp and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can’t spend the rest of the season changing their declining fortunes.

This is Jimmy Redknapp’s verdict as he condemns the “recipe of disaster” that United are cooking up for their lack of organization and discipline.

The ex-Liverpool and England midfielder believes the stinging problems were exacerbated by Sunday’s 5-0 home loss to Liverpool.

Redknapp, an analyst at Sky Sports, told Essential Football Podcast: “The players play individually and not collectively, and I think that comes down to a lot of the coach.

“It’s a situation where the players seem to be not taking the information on board, and it definitely doesn’t work.

“I know there’s been talk of Ole giving more time but I don’t know how you can say ‘we’ll give a coach until the end of the season’ when you can now see everything fall apart.

“When you look at Manchester United now as a team and organization, the defeat against Liverpool did not surprise me at all.”

Redknapp added, “I’ve been in locker rooms before when things didn’t work out for the manager and that’s what it looks like to me. This locker room, in the finest way, looks like it’s going to be a bit of holiday camp.

“Everything looks very nice. Players get away with things and that’s a recipe for disaster in football.

“If they lose to Tottenham and then lose two more games, I’m sorry, but he can’t stay.”
