How to use YouTube Studio to check your earnings and analytics

Whether you are monetizing on Youtube or your channel is already monetizing, it is important to know how to check your analytics and revenue.

Note that some of the data below will only be visible after your channel meets the monetization criteria. Keep reading to find out how to access it.

What are YouTube’s criteria for monetization?

If you’re hoping to get your YouTube channel accepted into the YouTube Partner Program to earn revenue from ads, you’re living in a niche covered by the program. Moreover, you have to follow the monetization policies of YouTube channels.

In the last 12 months, you should have more than 4,000 public watch hours and more than 1,000 subscribers, along with linking your Google AdSense account to your profile.

How to check your channel analytics on the YouTube Studio app

When you open the YouTube Studio app for the first time after logging in, your channel dashboard appears. Under Analytics, located near the top of the page, tap Show more. This will open a file Analytics overview Section.

At the top of the screen is a menu bar with a series of options that you can click on. By swiping left across the top menu banner, you’ll find the Reach, Sharing, Audience, and Revenue tabs.

Below this menu bar, you will find a series of boxes. The first box shows your channel’s total views over the last 28 days. From here, you can swipe left to access your channel’s watch time, subscribers, and estimated earnings data for the same period.

When you click on one of these options, it will open to display a larger graph of the data. For example, if you click File Views In the box, it shows a graph showing daily views of your channel over the past 28 days.

Below this you will find the latest videos on your channel and then the most recent comments left on your videos. You can view and respond to it by clicking on it.

Check total views on YouTube

From the Youtube Studio dashboard, you can follow the above steps to access your views data on YouTube. Alternatively, you can click menu (at the top left of the screen), select Analytics, then tap opinions can. This graph shows your views of the last 28 days. On this page there is a dropdown box that allows you to select the time frame for which you want to display the data. You can choose to display data from different time ranges.

Click the back arrow to return to the Analytics overview page. From here, you can scroll down to view the real-time view count for the past 48 hours. You will also see a thumbnail of the top five videos of this period. Scroll down again to view the top five videos from the last 28 days. Clicking on any of them will bring up an in-depth graph detailing your YouTube channel data.

How to check the most successful YouTube videos

When creating videos with the goal of making money from them, it is important to be able to see which videos are doing well. The quickest and easiest way to see this is to click menu (top left of the screen), then tap Videos. This will show all your videos. You can sort them by most recent or most viewed. when you choose most watchedYour videos will be categorized by popularity, so you can easily see which videos are performing best.

If you want to know which videos are performing best at the moment, click menu (top left of the screen), choose Analytics, then scroll down to see your channel’s shows in real time for the past 48 hours. Below this section, you will see the top videos on your channel in the last 28 days. When you click on this section, you can see a drop-down box to set the duration of your choice. Below, you will see a list of the most viewed videos on your channel.

If you click on any of the listed videos, you will see the number of views, click-through rate, etc. for that video. You can go in more depth with the selection Go to video analytics.

How to check your earnings on YouTube

Once your channel generates revenue, you can monitor it by clicking menu (top left of the screen), then swipe left on the menu bar at the top of the screen so that you can click Revenues.

Under this section, you will see a graph showing your estimated earnings for the last 28 days. It’s worth noting that there is usually a 48-hour delay in the data being added, so don’t expect real-time revenue information. You can change the dropdown box at the top of the screen to specify the time frame for which you want to display the data.

This drop down box is the easiest way to check how much you will get each month. By setting it to last month, you will be able to see how much YouTube has deposited into your AdSense account this month.

When will I get my dues?

Your YouTube earnings are paid out a month after you earn them, and you’ll get that money on or around the 25th of that month.

Remember that AdSense It has a minimum payout threshold, and this varies from country to country. So, it is worth checking the minimum payout in your country.
