The midfielder was receiving a two-footed challenge from Paul Pogba, but he appears to have recovered quickly.
Liverpool also revealed that Thiago is back in training after sharing photos on Twitter Midfielder in training.
Ahead of the Reds’ game against Brighton this weekend, assistant manager Pep Linders said of the Spaniard’s recovery: “Thiago – Brighton will be soon, but probably not. He’s almost back.”
He also gave an update on Keita for Liverpool website, saying, “Nabi (Kita) has a bruise at the moment, we’re assessing it day in and day out. She looks good, so that’s okay.”

After chasing Mason Greenwood during the match, the 35-year-old’s injury worsened – he could now be out until the next international break.
Klopp is likely to turn to Curtis Jones or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in his absence, with the latter keen to get more match time amid speculation he could return to Arsenal.
Keita will be fighting to start but having finally secured a regular spot in midfield.
