This is the moment a gunman opened fire during a heated altercation in the middle of Queens Street – injuring three people, including a victim who was blown up six times.
A clip released by the NYPD early Thursday shows the suspect firing several rounds, at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Beach Channel Drive near Beach 38th Street in Edgemere.

After the shooting, the footage shows a group standing on the sidewalk suddenly storming the enemy – and a person carrying what appears to be a coffee cup rolling on the ground.
Police said a 32-year-old man was shot six – in his left leg, left foot, right foot, groin, right hand and buttock – and was taken to St John’s Hospital by special means.

Police said he was initially listed in critical condition but has since been stabilized.
Police said a 35-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, initially in critical condition, but has since been stabilized, too.

A 36-year-old man went to Jamaica Hospital by special means with a bullet wound to the left leg. It is listed in stable condition.
The policemen had no further information about the altercation that preceded the shooting.

Prior to the shooting, the victims had just left a party elsewhere, but this did not appear to be related to the shooting, the officers said.
Police were still searching for the suspect Thursday morning.
