Manchester United are planning a raid on Real Madrid Marvel – likely to be the new superhero of Spanish football.
The Red Devils were fans of the 18-year-old – whose full name is Marvelous Antolin Garzon – after watching him fly through the ranks of the Madrid academy under the tutelage of club legend Raúl.
The massive defender clashed with Madrid’s Under-19 side at the start of the month and has already made six appearances.
Performances by Spain’s youth teams saw him being described as the future of the country’s defensive structure.
Now, according to BernabeudigitalUnited sent scouts to Madrid to find out what all the fuss was about.
The Red Devils will fantasize about their chances of persuading Marvel to leave Madrid for Manchester because they have already given two youngsters away from the Spanish giant.
Last year, United criticized star Alvaro Fernandez Carreras when he failed to reach an agreement with Madrid to sign a new contract.
The left-back, 18, who was part of Madrid’s Juvenil C squad, went on to sign a four-year contract with United.

They also overtook Real Madrid in signing another young Spaniard, Alejandro Garnacho, last year, who was just 16 years old at the time.

United’s pursuit of Marvel could get another boost if the club sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and hire former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.
The Frenchman has been closely associated with replacing Solskjaer after United’s defeat at Liverpool.
While Zidane was still at the Bernabeu, Marvel was one of the few youngsters to train with the first team alongside Theo’s 49-year-old son.
