When you start typing a query or a website link into the Google Chrome address bar, the browser displays various search suggestions below the bar. If you’re not a huge fan of these suggestions, you can turn them off. We’ll show you how.
If disabling images in search suggestions is not enough, Chrome will stop providing any suggestions retrieved from the default search engine after making this change. However, any suggestions from your browsing history will still appear.
This method works with any search engine you use in Chrome, including Google and Bing.
