Real Madrid are close to a sensational double whammy for Paul Pogba and Erling Haaland, according to reports in Spain.
Manchester United midfielder Pogba’s contract, 28, will expire at the end of the season.
The 2018 World Cup winner is able to negotiate pre-contract terms with other clubs from 1 January.
Meanwhile, Haaland, 21, is believed to have struck a deal with Real Madrid to join him when his £63m release clause comes into effect in the summer.
Both players are represented by super agent Mino Raiola.
Real Madrid were fearful of facing competition to sign the duo from Barcelona, thanks to the Nou Camp giants’ strong relationship with the agent.
But with Barcelona in disarray – both on the pitch and financially – as Los Blancos report now firmly in the driving seat to sign Pogba and Haaland.
Pogba is likely to be available on a free transfer on July 1 and is set to start talks with foreign clubs in January.

Real Madrid are hoping to beat their French rival, considering the free transfer as a major coup for them.
And Bernabeu president Florentino Perez can see his dream of partnering with Kylian Mbappe and Haaland together becoming a reality.
The 22-year-old has confirmed that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer next summer.
A group of clubs are set to pounce on the buzz of France, but with the striker being a Real boyhood fan, he is expected to move to the Spanish capital.
With Pogba and Mbappe costing nothing up front – with only their high salaries to take care of – Los Blancos should be in a strong position to trigger Haaland’s £63m release clause.
Haaland and his team have long suggested that a ‘Real Madrid clause’ be included in his current contract with Borussia Dortmund to move to Spain in 2022.
And now, with 2022 approaching, the crazy scramble is set to begin.
