ROY KEANE stormed into Manchester United captain Harry Maguire and mocked his apology to the fans.
United spent a week in turmoil after a 5-0 humiliation at the hands of arch-rivals Liverpool.
Maguire appeared on TV to say sorry to the fans and insist his men are ready to face Spurs.
But strongman Kane – who led United from 1997 to 2005 – said he was tired of hearing excuses after a string of awful performances.
“What Man United have always had over the years are players with character and character,” Kane said on Sky Sports ahead of United’s trip to Tottenham.
“I don’t see him with this group. I heard McGuire speak during the week, he was like a robot.
It was like (English accent): ‘I apologize to the fans,’ without any emotion.
“These guys are going to come out of the back of a good European Championship for England.

“They’ve been to big matches before. I’m tired of chatting after matches and people apologizing.
Harry Maguire says ‘we need to unite as a group’.
“No, you need to tidy up your game if you’re going to be the leader of that group. Get the basics right and do your own thing.
“People say he might not be fit, he scored an away goal against Leicester two weeks ago.
“It’s not about fitness, just lack of professionalism and not doing the job properly.”
