The Carabao Cup is fast paced with today’s quarter-final draw.
The League Cup usually continues to host draw rounds in weird and wonderful places – and it’s always a publicity stunt that keeps fans looking for the final round of matches to be announced.
In previous years, draws from the competition were held directly from Morrisons supermarket and also during midnight from Bangkok – and again, the organizers have something special planned for the last eight draw.
It was in June 2019 when a raffle took place from the Collindale branch of supermarket giants Morrisons, that John Barnes and Ray Parlor honored.
Whereas two years ago, in the first season of the Carabao energy drink makers as sponsors of the League Cup, they took the lottery to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, and it was done at midnight UK time.
Although this tie did not work without a hitch, Charlton appeared twice.
And then we got the draw for the quarter-finals this week in another interesting place.

It’s time for a cup of tea
Hello, good morning and welcome to SunSport Blog’s live coverage of the Carabao Cup Draw.
In keeping with the competition’s tradition of hosting raffles from exotic and wonderful places around the world, today is on Soccer AM.
John Findley and Jimmy Pollard are expected to pull the balls in this year’s quarter-finals, which will be held in December.
The top players in the Premier League, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham, expect to know their fate today.
West Ham, Leicester, Brentford and former Brim props Sunderland are also in the bet.
The Black Cats are hoping to attract a major after playing recent seasons in League One.
As for Tottenham and Arsenal, it is a chance to win the title that they have evaded in recent seasons.
Either way, with penalty shootouts and possibly some sideline players in the mix, it promises to be an exciting football run.
And who better to start the party than the funny Sky Sports guys Fendley and Bullard?
