Singer Jon Bon Jovi has tested positive for Covid-19, forcing him to cancel his Miami Beach appearance.
In a statement to NBC News, Bon Jovi’s representatives said the singer “has been fully vaccinated and feels fine.”
The “Livin’ On A Prayer” singer was scheduled to perform at a Saturday night fan event called “Runaway with JBJ.” The event was scheduled to take place from October 29 to October 31.
Bon Jovi was already at Loews South Beach when he tested positive, according to local news outlets WSVN. Looks like he left soon after.
An ad was made in which he told a man of the crowd who had gathered that Bon Jovi had tested positive for Covid, adding that “John feels good” but that he was “sleeping”.
And the Bon Jovi-backed group of suburban kings didn’t perform out of extreme caution.
Variety reported that last year keyboardist Bon Jovi suffered a Covid diagnosis early in the pandemic.
