From CeeDee Lamb to Cooper Kupp and Calvin Ridley to Terry McLaurin, the Giants have played against plenty of elite receptionists this season.
But they’ve never faced anyone quite like Tyreek Hill – because no one is quite like a five-time Pro Bowler of the Chiefs.
Corner player James Bradbury said as the Giants prepared to play in Kansas City on Monday night. “Often the faster players in this league have a hard time keeping track of the ball, so his uniqueness in being able to do all of that definitely makes him a weapon that we have to keep an eye on at all times.”

Known as “Cheetah” for his explosive speed, the 5-foot-10 hill was restricted to second in the NFL in receptions with 52 and is fifth in receiving yards with 641. He has scored five touchdowns. Chiefs will use it all over the field, outside, in the hole and even in the background. Its versatility is what makes it so difficult to defend.
It’s uncertain how the Giants plan to try and limit Hill, whether they have Bradbury following Hill wherever he goes, relying on area coverage or mixing and matching their looks. The Giants struggled to defend the hole (Cope burned them on Oct. 17 for nine catches and 130 yards and two touchdowns), although they could use Bradbury to cover Hill when he lines up at that spot. Cornermate Adoree’ Jackson has played some slots as well, giving the Giants multiple options if they don’t want to use their usual corner slots, Darnay Holmes or Julian Love, against Hill.
“I’m comfortable playing wherever he is,” Bradbury said. “That’s what I watch the movie for. I prepare myself for a week and a week to be ready to play wherever they ask me to play.
“I’m definitely up for a challenge if the coaches want me to do it. I wouldn’t say no. I wouldn’t turn it down. He’s definitely an explosive receiver. We’re all ready for the job on Monday.”
