A New York City public school teacher has been arrested for assault in Queens.
Melissa Goldschlager, 33, allegedly pushed her mother into the door during a dispute at a Forest Hills home, causing her to have a “mini-lace in the lip,” according to the New York Police Department.
Police said the attack took place at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, after a dispute “escalated” between the education ministry employee and her mother.
According to officials, Goldschlager was charged with assault.
