NYPD finds a 29-year-old man who was fatally shot in the head, and he has not been arrested

A 29-year-old man was fatally shot in the head in Brooklyn Saturday night, police said.

Around 5:50 p.m., police responded to calls to shoot at 248 Stanhope Street in Bushwick, finding the man with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center just two blocks from the scene, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Police said the victim’s identity has been withheld until the family is properly notified.

Police said no arrests have been made and an investigation is underway.
