Robert Allen arrested in connection with the Bronx fatal stabbing

The New York Police Department said Saturday that police have arrested a suspected killer who they said stalked and stabbed a man in the Bronx on Friday.

Robert Allen, 54, was slapped on premeditated murder and weapons charges in the killing of Anthony Nevis Friday inside the vestibule of the Mott Haven building, according to the New York Police Department.

A NYPD spokesman told The Post that Nevis, 40, was on his way to a check-cashing place on Bergen Street and East 148th Street around 8 p.m. “and appears to have been chased by an unknown person and found stabbed” in the middle section.
