Alexander Soros, the apparent heir to the political and philanthropic mission of left-wing billionaire George Soros, has traded selfies with beauty and brotherhoods for handshakes and hugs with world leaders.

“I think Alex is really invested in domestic politics in America and trying to figure out how to get past violent polarization, how to get past disinformation and he is someone who also cares deeply about protecting the rights of the most marginalized Americans,” Gaspard said.
Soros is vice chair of the board of directors for the giant nonprofit Open Society, which spent more than $1 billion in 2020 on left-wing causes including justice reform and economic equality.
Soros reportedly made it clear in a September call to the foundation’s staff that his father, 91, remains in charge.

He graduated from New York University in 2009 and received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley where his thesis was titled “Jewish Dionysus: Heine, Nietzsche and the Politics of Literature”.
