Wolves are preparing to lose Ruben Neves if they fail to qualify for Europe amid Manchester United and Arsenal’s interest in transfers.

Reports suggest Ruben Neves, the transfer target of Manchester United and Arsenal, could leave Wolverhampton if they do not qualify for Europe.

That’s according to Dean Jones, who is familiar with the transfer site, who claims the Midlands giants will struggle to hold on to Neves if they are unable to deliver European football to him next season.

Bruno Lage’s men are eighth in the Premier League table with two points that separate them from seventh-placed Tottenham, who have a game in hand.

Wolves must finish seventh to at least qualify for the Europa League.

The Red Devils have struggled in midfield this season and they look set to lose Paul Pogba, who became a free agent in June.

On the other hand, Arsenal also need to reinforce in the middle of the field because they are in pole position to play in the Champions League next season.

Neves joined Wolves from Porto in 2017 after a £15m deal with the Portuguese giants.

The midfielder has since scored a total of 24 goals and 12 assists in 206 appearances.

The Portugal international played in the Europa League with the English Premier League side two years ago and reached the quarter-finals.

The 25-year-old continues to play a key role at Molineux with four goals and two assists in 30 appearances across all competitions this season.
