Handyman was arrested in Queens Mom’s death stabbed 58 times, found in a duffel bag

A New York City Police Department said a man was arrested Thursday for the death of a Queens mother who was stabbed 60 times and whose body was found stuffed into a duffel bag over the weekend.

Police said David Bonola, 44, was arrested on charges of murder, criminal tampering and criminal possession of a weapon in the murder of Ursulia Gall.

The NYPD said the 51-year-old mother of two was found in a bag left on the side of the road at the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and Jackie Robinson Parkway in Forest Hills shortly after 8 a.m.

Bonola is a handyman who lived near the victim, according to three law enforcement sources.

The sources said he was said to have appeared at the victim’s home and killed her in the basement of the house after an argument.

Police sources said earlier that Khal was stabbed 58 times in the neck, torso, arm and hand.

The New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner classified Gall’s death as homicide due to “severe neck injuries.”
