Love Island’s new “competitive” bomb shakes the girls as they enter the villa

Love Island will be rocked by the arrival of another bombshell contestant as singer Antigoni Buxton enters the villa.

The 26-year-old from London will get in on the action during Wednesday’s episode, which will also see her pick three boys on a date.

The singer-songwriter, who is the daughter of TV chef and restaurateur Tonya Buxton, says she would bring “positive energy” to the hit dating show.

However, speaking before her arrival, she admitted that she is “very competitive”.

“It is not my intention to step on anyone’s feet, but if I sense the energy of someone and that connection, then in a very open and honest way, I will explore it, but I will be transparent with everyone in the situation,” she added.

Antigone explained that she signed up for the program because she had been celibate for about a year and a half and that her goal was “to have as many different experiences as possible.”

She has yet to reveal who she is watching at the villa because she feels she needs to “meet someone in person and see their energy and vitality” first.

On Wednesday’s episode, you’ll enter Antigone by relaxing on the sun loungers while the islanders wake up.

Speaking on The Beach Hut of her arrival, new girl Danica Taylor said: “She looks like a sunbeam – she’s radiant!

“But obviously I’m like, ‘What happens next? “Because I still haven’t found myself a man here.”

After her arrival, Antigoni will have the opportunity to go on a date with Davide Sanclimenti, Dami Hope and Jay Younger.

In her first meeting with David, he said, “I can feel you came here for a real relationship.”

Antigone agrees, “I can’t be unreal – it’s impossible,” to which he replies, “Me too. I can’t fake feelings.”

She also appears to be in touch with Dami as she told him, “You look like you vibes and it’s easy to talk to. You won’t run out of things to say.”

However, things will flare up between her and Jay as she tells him that she thinks he is attracted to her.

When asked about her reasons, she said, “She didn’t break eye contact with me once. It tells me you’re attracted to me.”

The dating show also sparked ridicule that another male contestant would soon be arriving at the villa.

The girls will get ready to meet the new islander in the garden while the boys watch from the balcony.

Love Island continues tonight 9pm on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
