Giancarlo Esposito Eyes of the Tenth Professor Role in Conversations with Marvel Studios

according to AV . ClubEsposito revealed that he “was in a room and talked” about joining the MCU during an appearance at the TJH Superhero Car Show & Comic Con in San Antonio, Texas this weekend. He didn’t specify which part he was in conversations for but admitted that people wanted him to play villains like Magneto and Doctor Doom. However, the actor said he would prefer a more heroic role as Professor X if he had his way.

Esposito made a career of playing bad guys. He is best known for his portrayal of Gus Fring in Too badMoov Gideon in The Mandalorianand Anton Castillo in the game Far Cry 6. As a result, it’s understandable why Esposito would prefer to play the protagonist in the MCU. An actor can play one villain, however, keeping things fresh is the key to any actor’s prolonged success. Esposito could kill any role he was given, especially as Doctor Dom would be an exciting prospect, but would be a great choice for Professor X nonetheless.
