Kevin Durant still wants to be traded from Brooklyn Nets. The 12-time team striker met with Nets owner Joe Tsai over the weekend and gave him a caution to either trade him, or partly with teams general manager Sean Marks and coach Steve Nash. Shams Charania of The Athletic first reported the news, and Zhou Tsai seemed to confirm the news with his feet. Public Tweet in support For NETs front desk and coaching staff.
“Our front office and coaching staff have my support. We will make decisions that are in the best interests of the Brooklyn Nets team,” Tsai said in a tweet.
The Nets are looking to earn a big return for Durant, the largest in NBA history, some have said, for their attacking star. Charania said something similar in his August 8 report. “Tsai and the Nets have privately made it clear that they will take all last assets from a team that trades for Durant,” the sources said. Charania Books.
Charania mentioned that the top three teams pursuing Durant are the Boston Celtics, the Toronto Raptors and the Miami Heat. However, on August 10, reports added another surprise cast to the mix for the Shopper star.
Philadelphia 76ers could chase Durant
If you thought there were no more surprises in the Durant saga, then Marks and Nash’s dismissal request came as a shock, but the Philadelphia 76ers being a potential landing point is something else. SNY’s Ian Begley wrote on August 10 that Durant sees Philadelphia as a potential trading destination.
“So what’s going on now? Well, it’s worth noting that in addition to Boston, Durant also sees Philadelphia as another welcome landing point, for everyone familiar with the subject.” Bigley Books.
The Nets have made it clear that they expect to get an All-Star for Durant. It’s unlikely the 76ers will feature All-Star James Harden or Joel Embiid at a network show. Bigley indicated that Therese Maxi could be included in the deal.
“The Sixers will almost certainly be included Therese Maxi In the Durant trade. Looking at the dynamics in the game, you might think so Tobias HarrisAnd the Matisse Thibault Other players/draft picks will be included,” Begley wrote.
Does Durant for Philadelphia make sense?
Could another reunion between Kevin Durant and James Harden work in Philadelphia? It’s important to remember that Harden’s frustrations in Brooklyn were focused on Kyrie Irving and his absence and not with Durant. The two were just seen together in London for a Travis Scott party and they stayed close. This relationship should not be too complicated to repair. Durant, Harden and Embiid will be three dynamic men in the city of brotherly love.
Maxey, Harris and Thybulle may not be enough to seal a deal for Durant. It will probably take a bunch of draft picks as well or maybe a third team. As for the space the Nets are looking for versus Durant, Sixers may not be the best business partner. The report is more circled because Durant chose the teams he would like to play for, including the Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics and now the Philadelphia 76ers.
