The pair finished third in the eighth series of the popular ITV dating program last week, ahead of Tasha Guri and Andrew Lobage, behind them by Luca Pesch and Gemma Owen, while David Sanslimiente and Ekin Sukulloglu were crowned the winners.
Most of the islanders returned to the UK from Mallorca last week, while Dami returned to Dublin where he was spotted in Blanchardstown.
The 26-year-old made his way home without India, but the couple have since met up with Dami to introduce India to his family and friends, including his beloved grandmother.
In a clip shared on Dami’s Instagram story, he filmed India standing in the living room talking to one of Dami’s male relatives and asking, “Does he look like me?”
Jokes from India: “I think it looks a little better.”
Then Dami shared a clip of his grandmother meeting India for the first time and offered her a welcome hug.
“This is my Grammy,” says Dami. “She literally changed her clothes and put on perfume just to meet this girl.”
Indiyah replied, “Hello Grandma!”
Dami commented on the clip, “They are still cuddling 30 seconds after I posted this.”
And Dami’s grandmother appears to be a fan of India, as the pair continued to engage in some garden chats.
Meanwhile, in a clip posted by the former waitress, India leans in while Dami’s grandmother plants a dimple on her cheek.
It comes after Dami’s sister said her family was “so proud” of Wexfordman after he finished third on Love Island.
“I am so proud that Dame comes third, he has made us all so proud. We are proud of him regardless of whether he comes first or last,” his sister Cynthia, 19, told Sunday World.
“I am proud that he has always remained true to himself, has shown all his feelings and has never backed away from himself.
“We are all proud of him for fixing things up with Indiyah and following his heart and I’m glad he found love, because if anyone deserves it it’s definitely him.”
