Red Hood shoots lives in Gotham Knights’ latest trailer

Of all the Knights of Gotham, none lives like Red Hood, aka Jason Todd. A former Robin who was killed by the Joker before being brought back to life, Todd’s brush with death left him forever changed. For starters, he lost a lot of sympathy for criminals who would harm the citizens of Gotham City. Secondly, it also acquired strange ghostly powers.

You can see these powers on full display in the latest Gotham Knights trailer, which focuses exclusively on the Red Hood. Armed with two dual-action pistols, Red Hood has no problem blasting gang members from a distance or getting close and personal to throw some punches and kicks between trigger pulls. Obviously, Todd would have a more effective, and even brutal, fighting style compared to other knights.

He also possesses some strange worldly powers. The Red Hood, imbuing his gun with green energy, can fire a spirit shot that bounces from enemy to foe. His Soul Leap ability allows the Red Hood to summon green platforms to jump off of. He can also summon explosives to place at the bad guys’ feet before jumping away.

All of this is apparently “non-lethal,” as shown in the game’s previous trailer. This means that those bullets are made of rubber and the explosions are for show only. I think those green ghosts tearing up the soul just tickle opponents into losing consciousness or something. It’s hard for Red Hood to maintain his gritty personality while not killing anyone, but somehow he seems to be able to.

In another trailer recently, we got to know why everyone’s always talking about your ass Dick Grayson. In a clip from the game, Barbara Gordon accuses Nightwing of always checking his ass in the mirror every chance he gets. We see? Not just us. Even Grayson himself cares about his behavior with his butts.
