While Baldwin doesn’t mention the project he was fired from, he says he held talks with producers for months and suddenly left it just as he was about to board a plane to start filming. “I got fired from another job yesterday. There I was ready to go to a movie, hop on a plane… I’ve been talking to these guys for months and they told me yesterday we don’t want to do a movie with you because of this.”

Baldwin also says he has feared for his safety since Donald Trump said he believed Baldwin intentionally killed Hutchins. Baldwin has been very outspoken in insisting that Hutchins’ death was entirely accidental and did not take any personal responsibility for the tragedy.
