Do you want to change your appearance within the game? I’ve got you covered. In the beginning, when you first create your character in Disney Dreamlight Valley You will only get access to some customizable features but once you get past the introduction to the game, you will have access to much more.
In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how you can change your look once you’ve created your character, how to change your clothes, and even how to design your own clothes from scratch! It is so much fun, and gives you endless creative possibilities.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is still in early access, so this guide is based on content presented at this point. It may be subject to change as the game is further developed.
How do you change your clothes and appearance?
Once you enter the game and get past the introduction, you will have access to a house of your own. This also allows you to Access your wardrobe through your backpack.
To change your look, open your backpack by pressing the inventory button. You’ll see different options here: inventory, wardrobe, and furniture. Select the wardrobe list, because it is the list you are looking for.
In your wardrobe, you can choose the outfit that you would like to wear while playing the game. There are seventeen categories of clothing to choose from. Plus, if there’s something you’re not happy with about your character’s physical appearance, you can Scroll down to the second tab in your wardrobe And change it as desired.
How to design clothes
One of the best features of Disney Dreamlight Valley is the ability to design your own clothes. This way, you can really wear whatever you like, and enjoy some new clothing options.
To make your own designs, go to your wardrobe. In the “Categories” tab, select the “Customize” option. Then click on “Add New”which will take you to a screen where you will have to select the type of clothing you want to design.
It is possible to add up to 50 layers to the design. You can add stamps related to nature, food, flowers, and magic, or you can add your favorite shapes, symbols, objects, animals, and even characters.. You can then position, rotate, and resize the item. Even if you save the design, You can always edit or delete it later.
Messing around with the customizer is the best way to get to know it before trying to make a serious design that you want to wear in-game.
