Ralph Macchio and William Zapka reprise their roles from the Karate Kid Franchise and continue the story after 30 years in Cobra Kai. The series introduced quite a few new characters, but the focus remains on the conflicting styles of Cobra Kai, Mr. Miyagi, and the resulting conflict, showing how people can get caught up in the differences.
Cobra Kai It is inhabited by the main characters’ children and their friends as the show pays tribute to the original films. Each new and innovative character has an evolving personality and their strengths and weaknesses that align with the tendencies of each zodiac sign.
Updated September 22, 2022 by Amanda Bruce: With each new season of Cobra Kai new faces come for the audience to get to know. Some of them are members of the new generation of fighters, while others are actually Daniel and Johnny The Karate Kid. As a result, there are a lot of big characters on the show, but it’s easy to find representation for them in the western constellations. As season 5 brings new layers to some of the most popular characters, audiences also understand those characters better.
Daniel Larseau and Mike Barnes: Aries
Daniel has a personality similar to the Aries sign because he is a confident and determined personality and is usually honest and optimistic for most of his life, especially when he is working on his personal passions in karate, being with his family, and working in the car. Agency. Although he tries his best to be zen and balanced like Mr. Miyagi taught him, Daniel still has a short temper and an aggressive and impulsive side that he hasn’t learned how to control.
Although over the course of the show Daniel learned how to temper his impulsive nature from Aries, that’s not true for Mike Barnes, who appeared in Season 5 of Daniel’s Past. Mike is often ready to rush into a situation without all the information because he is driven by the passion and love he has for his family. No wonder he and Daniel fight so much because they are so much alike.
Miguel Diaz and Cousin Toguchi: Taurus
Miguel is the first student of Johnny’s new Cobra Kai whom everyone wants to see succeed. Miguel has similar characteristics to the Taurus sign’s personality as he is a stable, practical, and reliable character. He tends to be one of the most responsible characters of the series, especially in relation to his father figure Johnny. Although Miguel’s a great kid, he can be stubborn and uncompromising at times even when he’s in the wrong.
It’s not hard to think that Miguel might grow up in a similar way to Chozen as both have an appreciation for routine and stability. Chozen, after years of training, follows a strict schedule that he doesn’t interrupt even while traveling to California to help Daniel. Chozen is also still in love with the same woman he met as a teenager, but his fear of change has prevented him from telling her how he feels. That’s definitely relatable for a Taurus.
Sam LaRusso And Kenny Payne: Gemini
Sam is a kind and affectionate person who takes great care of her family and friends at school. She’s also adaptable and doesn’t hold back when she sees someone being treated badly, like when she caught her boyfriend Kyler bullying Miguel. On the other hand, she tends to be tense and indecisive, and it takes a while for her to understand that she needs to stand up for herself and others. between the Cobra Kai Zodiac signs, Sam is a Gemini, often the chameleon of the zodiac because they are able to adapt just about anywhere, just as Sam seamlessly transitions from crowd crowd to untouchables, embracing both.
Kenny and Sam may not seem to have much in common, but like Sam, Kenny moves from one crowd to the next, embracing the opportunity to become an almost entirely new person. Kenny, like Sam, is initially indecisive about his actions. While on Cobra Kai, he credits first Robby, then Kyler, then Silver, on making decisions before deciding to take on a leadership role himself.
Tori Nichols and Carmen Diaz: Cancer
Tory is a hardworking, persistent and loyal character, who becomes friendly with everyone in Cobra Kai, Miguel and Aisha in particular. She and Miguel start a relationship even as he still misses Sam after their breakup. Tori is suspicious and tends not to trust anyone, opts for a tough exterior, and becomes insecure in her relationship with Miguel because she sees that he still has feelings for Sam. All of Tori’s strengths and weaknesses are similar to that of a Cancer.
Tory shares a lot of those traits, surprisingly, with Miguel’s mother, Carmen. Just like Tori, Carmen is not quick to trust others, and is incredibly attuned to her own emotions and those of others, more committed than some might give her credit for. She also sees the good in Johnny, although others may not, just as Tori sees the good in Cobra Kai, even as she succumbs to her anger.
Robbie Kane and Jasmine: Leo
Robbie goes through an incredible change throughout. Good reception Cobra Kai When the series begins, he is a lost kid with no direction and begins to show that he is kind-hearted, generous, and emotional by season two. Although Robbie has changed a lot, he is still stubborn and self-centered like when he didn’t tell Sam that it was Miguel who returned Mr. Miyagi’s medal. All of these strengths and weaknesses are similar to the sign of Leo.
Like Ruby, Jasmine, who was previously the most popular girl in school, shares a lot of these qualities. She prefers to be the center of attention, which causes a lot of bullying on her in the first episodes of the series. Over time, she has shown that she, too, has a heart as she befriends Dimitri and learns from her mistakes.
Dimitri Alexopoulos and Terry Silver: Virgo
Dimitri is a loyal and analytical character who does not want to be drawn into the world of karate but finds himself forced when he loses the friends who joined Cobra Kai. He decides to join Miyagi-do so that he can fend for himself. He is shy, although he is trying to gain more confidence, and has a strong tendency to worry about every little thing, which makes his personality resemble a Virgo. Virgos are perfectionists and schemers, which is perfectly in line with Dimitri’s desire to immediately understand his training.
Since Virgos are often seen as the mom’s friend in a group, it might come as a surprise to think of Silver as a Virgo. Silver personifies what happens when Virgos use their skills for evil. Silver sharpened his fears and insecurities to turn them into goals he could pursue, such as his need to leave a legacy behind. He also plots every possible disruption in his plans. It is fitting that Dimitri is the one to figure out how to get into the Cobra Kai’s security system next.
Aisha Robinson and Ali Mills: Libra
Aisha is a fair diplomat with a personality similar to the sign of Libra because she does not choose to fight first, even after she joins the Cobra Kai and becomes more confident. She still prefers to talk about a problem, but is not afraid to stand up for herself. She tends to hold a grudge (although often justified, as with the bully Jasmine), and was inclined to pity herself, especially before joining Cobra Kai.
Libras are often referred to as peacemakers, able to see all sides of an argument to broker a deal. This is why Ali is also a Libra. She makes her return to the world of The Karate Kid in Season 3, and she’s soon in the middle of Johnny and Daniel’s rivalry, seeing how they leave the details of their struggle out, and they easily discover the truth.
John Chris: Scorpio
John Kris was another original character from the Karate Kid Franchise, more authentic karate Kid The characters may appear in later seasons. Kreese played an important role in the second season of the series when he returned to the Cobra Kai dojo as the emotional trainer with his ulterior motives. He is stubborn, resourceful, and secretive. Scorpios tend to play their cards close to their chest, but they are very aggressive when they want to solve a problem. Kreese is an easy match for Scorpio in Cobra Kai Zodiac signs.
Anthony Larseau and Devon Lee: Ophiuchus
Ophiuchus may not be on the official zodiac list, but he’s often called the forgotten sign of the zodiac, just as Anthony seems to have been forgotten by the rest of his family. Passing across the sky between Scorpio and Sagittarius, the sign contains a mixture of traits from the other two. Ophiuchus has an aggressive approach to desires like Scorpio, but the love of freedom and the blunt nature of Sagittarius. Anthony’s penchant for divulging everything he thinks and separating himself from family activities definitely fits the bill.
Devon has a fierce approach to achieving goals as Scorpios or Capricorns do, but she also wants to do things her way. She has been repeatedly offered the chance to succeed as a star on Cobra Kai, but she doesn’t like her approach, and doesn’t hesitate to tell her sense of it. Devon, like Anthony, makes the great Eve.
Johnny Lawrence and Kyler Park: Sagittarius
Johnny Lawrence’s dialogue shows his great sense of humor, and while he’s not always perfect and generous, he believes he can change Cobra Kai and be a good sense and supportive of his students. Although he does his best to change, he tends to say whatever’s on his mind without the need for much filtering, sometimes promising more than he can deliver. All of these strengths and weaknesses are similar to the personality of a Sagittarius.
Johnny tends to embody a lot of the positive traits of Sagittarius. It tells great stories, makes people laugh, and encourages people to embrace what makes it unique. It’s all about Sagittarius freedom. On the other hand, Kyler tends to personify the more negative traits of a sign. His rude nature and need to see himself free leads him to bully others. Likewise, he talks a lot, but not much of a follow-up, which makes him a bully who pushes others to do his dirty work.
Amanda Larseau and Louis Larseau: Capricorn
Amanda is similar to a Capricorn because she is a responsible and disciplined person with great self-control that contrasts with her husband’s impulsive demeanor. She is the successful CEO of the automobile group that she and Daniel own, and is a respected leader. She tends to be a know-it-all personality who is strict and ruthless at times, although she is a very affectionate mother, wife and businesswoman.
Amanda would probably be surprised that she has anything in common with her husband’s cousin Louie, but they are more alike than they think. They both put family and the family business first. Louie doesn’t have the same business head as Amanda. He’s still incredibly hardworking and loyal, just as she is.
Eli Moskowitz / Hawk: Aquarius
Ellie is a character who has changed a lot throughout the series and has a personality similar to the sign of Aquarius. He becomes an independent and unique character when he decides to “flip the script” and change his way of life after being a shy kid to become an outspoken leader. Although he is more confident like Hawk, he tends to be moody, relentless, and away from anger issues as he attacks and fights his close friend over a minor issue. Hawk really represents the best and worst parts of an Aquarius because he desires to stand out, but sometimes he forgets how his actions affect others.
stingray and moon: whale
Raymond, who is finally called Stingray, is a new student to Cobra Kai in season 2, much older than the mostly teen class. He struggles to fit in at first, but is passionate about karate and gets close to the other students once he proves himself. He has a strong desire to escape reality and live a different life than what he was leading, and Pisces is definitely known for his love of escaping from reality.
Of course, Pisces is also often called the most spiritual of the signs, which is why the moon also fits into the sign. You are more likely to take a creative approach to problem solving and lose yourself in a good song than to learn to throw a punch. These two show how two different people can be, but still find similar traits in Cobra Kai Zodiac signs characters.
