
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been given permission to return to London after injuring his knee.
Barty, 29, will be evaluated by Arsenal’s medical staff upon his return to England after having to withdraw from international duty with Ghana.
The midfielder sustained a knee injury while warming up before his country’s 3-0 defeat by Brazil in Le Havre on Friday.
Barty will now miss Ghana’s friendly match against Nicaragua on Tuesday.
The Ghana Football Association said in a statement: “Thomas Partey has been given permission to return to London for further assessment after suffering a suspected knee injury on Friday – minutes before the international friendly match against Brazil.
