The NBA Offseason is approaching with the Philadelphia 76ers starting their training camp on Tuesday. Several players have returned to the region in preparation for travel to South Carolina where camp will take place this season. This also resulted in the release of some early images of the Sixers in action. One player who is sure to have all eyes on him this season is James Harden.

After spending a total of just 33 games in Philadelphia last year during the regular season and playoffs, Harden will be looking to make an even bigger impression during the 2022-23 season. There was a great deal of discussion about Harden’s health after a season in which he was pestering him Stuck hamstring problems. With him being off the season to get in better shape from playing, we hope he can turn back the clock and rise to the true star that he has proven to be in the past. If the recent photos are any indication, it appears as though Harden is in much better shape heading to training camp than he was when he first arrived in Philadelphia.

Harden structure

There may not be another NBA player who has as much interest in fitness as James Harden. Just as his effort level has been noted to change based on his commitment to the team, his physique and body type seem to follow. The old phrase says the camera adds ten pounds, but the fact that these two photos of Harden from 2021 are within a few weeks of each other is hard to fathom.

There’s not much Harden can do to prove he’s committed to the Sixers this season and invested in the team’s success. Former MVP The $47.4 million player option was rejected In favor of a friendly deal for the team earlier this season. With this money available under the salary cap, the Sixers were able to add players like PJ Tucker, Danuel House and Montrezl Harrell. He’s also posted some incredibly encouraging training videos that are getting a new blast. Harden’s desire to compete in Philadelphia is clear, and he now has to prove it on the court.

Allen Iverson looks over the shoulder

The other notable part of this photo is an image of Allen Iverson lurking over Harden’s shoulder. Iverson has one of the most impressive resumes of any Sixers member in the history of the organization. During his 12 seasons in Philadelphia, Iverson was named NBA MVP, is a nine-time All-Star, won the scoring title four times, and led the NBA in minutes per game in five different seasons. The poster looming over Harden’s shoulder is the famous moment where Iverson climbed over Tyronn Lue In their first game win over the Lakers in the 2001 NBA Finals.

Iverson leaves a huge shoe that is difficult for any player to fill and Harden is not expected to fill it on his own. Georgetown producer has Shows generally support For Harden who has dated before he arrived in Philadelphia, but has been particularly excited since joining the organization.

While he doesn’t need to be Allen Iverson, the Sixers will count on playing a dynamic guard from Harden this season. There is plenty of reason for optimism surrounding this Sixers roster but the team’s cap is highly dependent on which version of James Harden will take the field. With improved fitness and the blessing of one of the organization’s top players, big things from the star may be on the way.
