The new Sixers addition reveals a unique off-court interest

The Philadelphia 76ers have had a clear focus on improving their depth this season. The franchise brought in several rotating pieces that are expected to increase the potential of the team. Danuel House was one of the most under-the-radar additions. The six-year NBA veteran was signed to A 2 year contract Worth $8.5 million during the season. House played alongside James Harden on the Rockets and spent time with the Utah Jazz.

However, the 29-year-old recently sat down K. Carlin from SixersWire To discuss his interests away from the basketball court. House revealed how his passion for music led him to create his own recording company.

What is 4D House Entertainment?

While NBA players experimenting with their rapping ability is not uncommon, House has taken it to another level by putting together his own label. House with Sixers

While he won’t be investing in the music industry, House is expected to play a role in the Sixers’ rotation. After coming out without drafting prior to the 2016-2017 season, he was offered a contract with the Wizards but only played one game with the team. His defensive impact and ability to shoot triples gives him an edge over his competition within the Sixers who don’t tend to have balanced abilities. He has been very open about his willingness to do whatever the Sixers need and the first team mentality has already set the stage positively for his time at Philly.

House and the rest of The Sixers will get their first chance on Monday as they have their pre-season opener against the Brooklyn Nets. Doc Rivers hasn’t made a formal decision on how much time the junior Sixers will spend on the court. With a longer rest time than a real game, it is likely that House will get a chance to make a strong first impression of his abilities on the court.
