Bayern Munich set a new Champions League record by beating Viktoria Plzen

Bayern Munich crushed Victoria Plzen 5-0 on Tuesday evening to set a new Champions League record.

The Bundesliga champions set a new record for the longest unbeaten streak in group matches, with a comfortable victory in Munich in their 31st unbeaten match.

Their impressive walk makes them cross the mark already set by Real Madrid.

Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and Sadio Mane all scored within the first 21 minutes on Tuesday to comfortably ease Bayern’s lead in the first half.

Sane, the former Manchester City striker, added his second goal five minutes into the second half, and substitute Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored the fifth goal.
