In his regular season debut in over nine months, Wilson cooked up some magic to take the Jets’ number to 2-2 before week five.

Prior to that scheduled showdown with the Dolphins, Josh Boyer was Miami’s defense coordinator flowing around Wilson as a player and the challenges he will present to his defence:

“He’s very athletic and has a very strong arm. He seems to make his lead read faster and he’s definitely doing a good job with that. In the fourth quarter, they were able to come back and he was very efficient and accurate with his throws. He made a lot of big throws in big situations. He has the ability. on passing the ball on the court because he has an incredibly strong arm. I would say he’s very athletic and he’s really slippery in the pocket for sure.”

While Wilson is incredibly inexperienced with a bit of game bar, he brings some dynamism to the attack with a rare skill set.

The Jets’ offensive line has been hit and bitten this season as it relates to injuries. When veteran Joe Flacco was forced to stand behind the line, it often led to complete disaster.

Since Wilson entered the squad he has been able to hide Lots of those problems with his crazy movement and dribbling.

This upcoming competition against Dolphins will be another interesting test on many levels.

How does Wilson handle a seasoned defense who loves to toss the kitchen sink early and often? Is he able to make quick readings and take advantage of those one-on-one matches? Or is his rapprochement with the coup rearing its ugly head?

Another big team-wide question is how the Jets deal with success. Historically after they win, they are satisfied and lay an egg the following week. The real test of whether you are a mediocre team or a good team is the ability to put performances together.

The Jets had a great finish vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers, what will happen on Sunday at MetLife Stadium vs. the Dolphins?

Which Zack Wilson will we get?

As impressive as his fourth-quarter finish was, things didn’t go smoothly during the first three quarters.

As a matter of fact, Wilson was a sad 8 of 24 heading into the fourth quarter. If this narrative were to continue, many people would have put the young man on a blast. Whether it is fair or unfair.

Instead, we’re left wondering when the real Wilson will stand up please?

Will he build on this impressive performance and allow Wilson to be the full-time release in the fourth quarter? Or was that just a passing flicker?

We’ve seen other quarterbacks go ahead in the fourth quarter (Sam Darnold) and then fail at the end. The only way to be certain for sure is more proof on tape and this opportunity is up on Sunday in the split game that actually means something in October.
