Chavarria was known for his positive attitude and ability to light up any room he entered, Gotham included. According to an official tweet, he passed away on September 24, 2022.

Who is Chavaria Reeves?
Chavaria Reeves He was an audio mixer best known for his work in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), The Day After Tomorrow (2004) and Oblivion (2013). Over the years, Schavaria has worked on several high-profile shows, which include Quantico, The Affair, Vinyl, Ray Donovan, and Law & Order: SVU. As an audio mixer, Schavaria was very much in demand. Several sources recently claimed that he died, but there was no confirmation from his family or friends.

Honoring the New Amsterdam Address Card:
After tonight’s emotional episode in New Amsterdam called Heal Yourself, there was the dedication of the title card. This tribute is very important to families and loved ones – it appears after every subsequent rebroadcast of an episode in which someone died. Given Reeves’ lengthy resume in the industry, it makes sense that he worked on the NBC medical drama at some point during its two seasons.
The cause of death is presumably due to his medical condition as he was suffering from prostate cancer. He was under medical supervision and undergoing chemotherapy at the time of his death.

Schavaria Reeves was clearly an excellent audio mixer and will be missed by many. His work has influenced the lives of many people and will continue to do so even after his death.
