It is a difficult decision because the consequences are not clear from the start. That’s why we originally created this guide to tell you what’s going on so you can make an informed decision. We have now updated the piece to make it easier to read.
Cyberpunk 2077 – Where to send Jackie

After pulling theft in The end of the introduction to Cyberpunk 2077Jackie will get shot. He’ll escort you out of the building and help you fight the Arasaka, although when you eventually get to Dilamine’s Taxi, Jackie will be in pretty bad shape.
You have to be able to Talk to Jackie as he’s dying in the car. In the end, the choices you make here don’t make any difference in terms of how the story goes, because unfortunately, Jackie dies no matter what.
After Jackie dies and Dellamin shuts down the cab, you’ll need to make an important choice: What do you do with Jackie’s remains? There are two different options here, and both have long-term effects. Could you Send Jackie’s remains to his family To let them grieve, or Send them to Vik’s ripperdoc clinic To prevent his mother from seeing him like this.
Cyberpunk 2077 – What to do with Jackie’s remains
Here’s what happens to Both possible decisions You can make it up regarding Jackie’s remains in Cyberpunk 2077:
- Send Jackie’s remains to his family: This unlocks the side function of heroes later in the game that cannot be unlocked otherwise. It’s a sentimental mission as you and Jackie’s loved ones bid farewell to her. It’s worth noting that telling Delamain to wait for you to come back will also lead to this result, so both decisions are essentially the same.
- Send Jackie’s remains to Victor’s clinic: This doesn’t unlock any side functionality, but it does introduce you to additional dialogue in a later main story mission, Totalimmortal. There will also be additional scenes in the said mission.
