A new floating disc shop has opened on a restored boat on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, sweetheart rubber records.
The new innovative record store, which also has a café, specializes in second-hand electronic versions.
They currently have a library of 2,000 records.
Rubber Ducky Records is located between Leeds and Manchester. However, the owner Miles Greenwood She plans to take the boat across the country through the canal waterways in the UK.

Greenwood, founded sweetheart rubber records 15 years ago she said: ‘I hope to take her to Hebden Bridge and then in a couple of weeks I will probably take her to Leeds.
“It’s good to keep moving because it makes people come from different places,” he continued.
The idea came to him when he was wandering around the canal systems in northern England while the country was in lockdown.
“At the time the government was mainly subsidizing small business rents due to COVID,” he said. “So there was nothing available – it wasn’t happening at all.
So I just thought: ‘All the cities are connected to the canal – why not just buy a boat? “

“I think inventory and collection are really good,” he said. “Everyone who does the dig seems really happy with what they find – that’s important.”
