Forspoken boss battles are amazing and repetitive depending on your playstyle. Players get to fight a giant dragon for the first hour of the game, but that’s just a taste of what’s to come in the story. In Chapter Four, Fry sets out on a mission to kill Tanta Scylla, who is being held captive in her castle.
The best way to get to Prenost Castle is in Forsbuken
After defeating Sila’s henchmen, the entrance to Praenost Castle Town appears. Upon entering the abandoned city, a cutscene is shown in which Fry attempts to formulate a plan on how to enter Scylla Castle. Although you are provided with three options (see photo), the best way to get to Branost Castle in Sila is by selecting Check the path Selection.

If you choose to go to the castle gate, it will lead you to a group of minions and a Recreant knight. After defeating these enemies, you will discover that the door is blocked and the only other way is to head up through the vertical path. Thus, it is better to stick to the path if you do not want to spend much time on this task. However, killing the castle gate Recreant Knight rewards you with a Fervid Garland, which you can use later in the game.
Now, as you pass the path to the castle at the top of the hill, you will encounter many of Sila’s henchmen who will also throw fireballs at you. You can either fight them off or just run after them if you are in a hurry. At the top you will have to face the Recreant Knight and some dungeon guards. Dispose of them strategically while keeping your healing items as you will need them later when you fight Tanta Scylla. The knight will throw the aftershock nail design upon death and the gate to Scylla’s throne will open.
