They approached the police and reported the missing 18-year-old, but only after they realized there was no news from her. Interestingly, the program claims that law enforcement officials carelessly recorded the complaint and allowed the situation to continue for a few days.
That’s why, when a passerby found Kaysara dead on Aug. 29, police didn’t know she was missing.

He immediately returns to look at her and finds the remains of a dead young girl. First responders were able to retrieve the remains and send them in for an autopsy once they reached the site.

Two years after the 18-year-old’s body was discovered in Hardin, Big Horn County District Attorney Jay Harris made a report on the investigation into her death public in August. However, the family disputed the account and told Dateline they left more questions than answers.

Caesarea of Beautiful Places: Disappearance
Grace alleged that their relatives were unaware of Kaysara’s disappearance on August 24, 2019, in Hardin, Montana. They were unaware on August 29, five days after her death was discovered.
It wasn’t until September 11, 2019, officials from Big Horn County told them that Caesar’s body had been discovered by a jogger in a home in the corner of the backyard at the intersection of Mitchell Street and Rangeview Drive.
