Getting PSN error while playing your favorite games on PlayStation console is the worst feeling ever. These can be server issues or problems on the user end that often appear when a large title is released. Players have encountered the “Cannot connect to the server to verify your license” error while accessing Hogwarts Legacy. Here are some possible solutions to this problem.
Fix PSN Error “The server could not be contacted to verify your license.”
As it turns out, the problem here is that the server is unable to verify your PlayStation Network license. To fix this problem, go to Settings > Account Management > Restore Authorizations. Let the restore process complete and then turn off your PlayStation console for about half a minute. Reboot the device again and your problem should be resolved.
Some users reported that the license recovery progress was not completed. Instead, they received another PSN error, codenamed WS-116521-6. If you are facing the same problem, don’t worry because there is another way to solve it. All you need to do is Reset internet connection setting on your PlayStation console and restart the device after 1 minute to fix the PSN error.
