The Legend of Zelda series received a major shakeup when The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released in 2017. It changed the series by moving away from dungeons other than Divine Beasts and introducing 120 Shrines. With Nintendo describing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as a sequel, you might be wondering if Shrines will return in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Do The Legend of Zelda Tears Kingdoms have shrines?
there No official answer or confirmationHowever, we don’t think Shrines will return in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Some of the biggest criticisms of Breath of the Wild weren’t about Dungeons, with Shrines replacing it. If Nintendo listens to the feedback about the game, we’ll likely see the return of dungeons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

In addition, clues can be found in Zelda lore. Shrines were the age of technology, which was heavily present in Breath of the Wild. In Kingdom’s Tears, we haven’t seen much of Sheikah’s tech in the trailers. This means that shrines are also a thing of the past.
With the introduction of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Sky Islands Kingdom, we may see a new type of shrine. This may be how the link goes from earth to heaven. Again, that is speculation, and there is no confirmation, so take it with a grain of salt. Hopefully shrines will end and the traditional dungeons of Zelda will return.
